As a science park on Anglesey that drives innovation and entrepreneurship in North Wales, M-SParc reached out to Tropic for help in a number of areas. Our founders have a background developing startups and scaleups across the UK, as well as delivering brand and design projects for some of the countries most successful business - it was a perfect fit to work together, especially on home turf.

The initial brief was to redesign and build their website. They then also needed support to create a range of sub brands, each with their own audience and objective whether to engage school children, launch sector-specific support schemes, or to help raise investment for startups. Alongside this, we've provided flexible design resources to complement their in-house team on various projects.

With a complex group of users we went through a number of workshops with different team members and stakeholders to better understand each segment's wants and needs. We then refined their digital user journeys using these insights.

Building on that solid foundation, we were able to launch a website that is both engaging and easy to use regardless of who you are or what you're looking for. We also built the site architecture in such a way that the team could add new services and offerings in future without the need for a redesign or rebuild. A common bug bear for business owners shouldn't have to experience.

With so many different types of support on offer, regular events and lots of great content, we made sure to hand over an easy to manage website that their internal team could update themselves as and when needed. Training sessions and how-to videos all delivered as standard.
